The full hour will be about acting, with a focus on INNER ACTION AND JUSTIFICATION/CONCEPTION AND EXECUTION. The actor's work is what happens at rehearsals, NOT what the audience sees. We will work with age appropriate scripts, improvisation, poetry and theater games designed to help members convert their understanding of characters and intentions into vocal and physical attributes.
A drama club builds community, teaches empathy and encourages curiosity and imagination. We will use class member ideas as often as ours, with active participation in every class both individual and collaborative.
